Graduation cakes are usually the hot cake of the month in June. Every year around this time, we have a slate of graduation cakes to deliver. This three tier topsy turvy cake was inspired by our 13th birthday cake.
Instead of the light color palette like the birthday cake, this graduation cake uses a darker color scheme including black, white, crimson and hot pink. Fondant gems with curled pink wires and our whimsy “2011″ crimson topper sit atop the diamond patterned top tier. Multi-colored stripes with a hot pink band highlight the secodn tier while the bottom tier includes black, crimson and hot pink polka dots with the Indiana University logo on the front.
Flavors included vanilla with raspberry chambord, pink velvet with vanilla buttercream and S’mores. We delivered the cake to Vine Restaurant in Basking Ridge, NJ.
