Dana Herbert's big win on the Cake Boss: Next Great Baker
Buddy Valastro announced that 34 year-old Delaware resident Dana Hebert won CAKE BOSS: NEXT GREAT BAKER in the season finale of the TLC series, which aired Monday, January 24, 2011.
Dana beat out 9 other aspiring bakers who competed throughout 8 weeks of grueling challenges that tested their baking know-how, decorating skills, and client & business skills.
As the “Next Great Baker,” Dana wins $50,000 cash, a brand-new car, and an apprenticeship with Buddy. “Dana proved he had the skills it takes to be a great baker – creativity, drive, and perseverance. Through the challenges, he showed he can overcome obstacles, create amazing cakes, and impress clients. He’s going to be a great addition to the Carlo’s Bakery family,” said Buddy.
