The Top Pastry Chef in the State of Delaware Dana Herbert did a stunning showpiece of a cake for the 78th NEP Province Council held in Wilmington, Delaware. The NEP council was hosted by the Wilmington Alumni Chapter and Nu Xi Chapter. As an added feather to this great occasion, Chef Herbert make this 3 foot high cake that was decorated in red and white, diamond on top and part of the cake was separated by a sugar mask that Herbert created. This Kappa man, who is a member of Wilmington Alumni Chapter, is considered the “King of Pastry” in the State of Delaware. After graduating from the University of Delaware, Chef Herbert continued his education at Johnson & Wales University, in Rhode Island where he completed a second Bachelor in Culinary Arts and an additional Associates of Arts in Pastry. He was also initiated into the Fraternity at Johnson & Wales. Chef Herbert worked for Marriott for a number of years and is now the Head Chef at the Delaware River and Bay Authority in New Castle, Delaware.
