Chocolate for Charity
On October 12, 2007 Dana Herbert, Pastry Chef of Desserts By Dana and the Philadelphia Downtown Marriott and James Johnson, pastry cook of the Philadelphia Downtown Marriott competed in the Paris Gourmet and aCacao Noel Chocolate and Sugar Competition. The pieces were judged by the audience and they cast the vote on the winners. Each competitior was required to use chocolate in their display but was not limited to incorportate other forms of sugar atristry. This piece contained Chocolate, Sugar and Pastillage. This piece was done by Dana Herbert and James Johnson. James Johnson did a great job on the white chocolate sock monkey as well as the functional marble toy. The competition was for the Childrens Home Society of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
